Thoughts on Pride Invitational Day 1

Today was the first day of the Pride Invitational tournament in Salinas. It was my first tournament with Team Norcal.

We lost the first game 4-6 against Apex Wolves. It was both good and bad. We lost by just 2 points because the girls were taller than us and kept intercepting the ball. And also we weren't spreading out as much: some of our teammates were taking the ball and running to goal with it instead of passing it to others.

We won the second game 11-1 against Verve. The Verve players were shorter than us and kept dropping the ball. Our team was quicker in scooping up the balls Verve kept dropping.

One thing I could improve is my shooting accuracy because I shot a ball and it hit the goalie in the helmet. See the video below. But at least I got many opportunities to shoot.

I feel like I played better on the Grizzlies team but that's because I don't know my Norcal teammates as well. I'm sure it will improve with playing more. It was fun and my teammates were friendly.
