Thoughts on Pride Invitational Day 2

Here's my recap of the second day of the tournament. The first game was against Salinas. I think that sometimes I was well positioned to receive the ball as an attacker but my teammates tried to score directly. It worked against Salinas but as you will see next, it didn't against a stronger team.

In other cases, I think I could have been positioned better because I know that my teammates saw me but didn't execute a pass.

Nevertheless, we won that game 6-2. It was a great feeling because we were now guaranteed to be at least in second place. The next game would determine if we got first or not.

This game was against Apex Wolves. We had lost to them the day before. They were still stronger but we saw an improvement from our team in the last 5 minutes where we passed the ball more on the attack side. This allowed us to score two goals. But Apex already had a big lead and we lost 3-9. This video is when we were doing a pretty good job passing the ball.

In conclusion, it was a really fun weekend and I'm really glad that we won 2nd place among 7 other teams 🥈.
